Travel to Cuba from Canada

Travel to Cuba from Canada, was no problem. A 6 hour flight from Calgary, Alberta to the Cuban Airport . The travel agency said our last minute trip would go fine, and indeed, we found a wonderful cuban adventure. Before long, we were enjoying the hospitality of some of the warmest people, we had ever met. If this is what Cuba represents, well "long live Cuba".

  All Inclusive Travel Package

This all inclusive travel package, surprised us with a fresh meal. Yep, it was to die for! This cuban recipe held a secret any restaurant would envy, oh, to be a welcomed tourist from Canada. The only travel restriction we faced, in Cuba, was getting up from this table. I'm not sure, if this picture, was me after dinner lounging in the yard, or dinner?

  Life in Cuba - Travel

Inside of this humble casa, I realized something. Life in Cuba, holds a secret, that most would overlook, including those who live here. Family and friends are close, perhaps they realize, their need for one another. I have the bacon, you have the eggs, lets get together...lol. Most Canadian families live far from each other, nor do they rely on one another for much. I believe, Cubans enjoy a higher quality of life in this!

  Cuban Real Estate - Vacation

Here some Cuban Real Estate begins to emerge. Grandpa and Father and Son and Grandson, may well be taking part, in this moment of Cuban History. This building will be home, to a fortunate husband and his cuban bride. Cubans have a passion for life, and without knowing it, spark life into all those around them. This culture contains ......a cuban revolution, but not the one of war, but of a deep awakening to life itself!

Cuban missile crisis - Travel - Vacation

Spicy food and Cuban music fill the air, the Cuban missile crisis long forgotten . Little wonder, a tourist travels the world, in search of something lost, yet a distant memory , reminds him of times like this. The wonder of simple pleasures and great people, who open their heart to strangers. What can be said, "C_U_B_A .....I love you!"

Best automobiles ever made - Vacation - Travel

The 50,s and 60,s will never die. As long as Cuba embraces its historic journey. The roads in Cuba are well traveled , but by some of the best automobiles ever made. Its a marvel to behold, these fantastic cars, filling the streets, faster than, my memory can freeze the moment..hmm

Cuban Tour - Travel - Vacation

Renting a Jeep or Car is relatively easy in Cuba. Gas stations welcome the dollar so a travel adventure is right around the corner. Here some German tourists, joined us for a Cuban Tour . We split the cost but shared our fascination, over this landscape. So different, from Canada, with the warm humidy and Caribbean terrain.

  Hurricane Charley
The weather in Cuba, each time we traveled , was more sunshine than cloud, more rays than wind, and less sleep more adventure. Lots of time to sleep, once we arrive home to Canada. Then we can curl up by the fireplace, bundled in a blanket and watch the snowflakes drift down as Christmas gets closer.Sol Palmeras Resort, a fun filled place, with agreat beach, and fun events.

This looks like Hurricane Charley , but I,m just putting two pictures together, yikes.... A picture from the Sol Palmeras balcony. Oh boy, wait until you see this place!!!

Cuban Hotels - Vacation - Travel

Cuban Hotels, with all inclusive packages are the best. If you have saved some cash for a stress free vacation....this place rocks. Do bring pens, good walking shoes, address book, cause friends love post cards, etc.You can eat and drink to your hearts content and dance through the night. No worries, be Happy...lol. Although , be careful of excess, least this visit becomes just a blurr and that would be a regret.

  Bridge over troubled waters

This is the bridge over troubled waters. For many canadians we have saved our money for a year, and we've looked forward to this vacation in the hot carribbean. Not to be dissapointed, these cuban resorts, hold all the thrill and passion of the tropics.

Cuban music - Travel - Vacation

Cuban music is as full of life as its people. For a heart filled cuban vacation, take in as much as you can. This sound will warm you up on some chilly winter night, back home in Canada. Nonetheless, a fresh snow for Christmas, with all the lights and festivity, captures its own secret place in the world of nostalgia.

  Travel To Cuba

This is not Mark Cuban, but the idea to broadcast audio transmissions of this favorite past time, could open a few chat rooms to some excitement! So many women on the cuban beaches go topless, a definite neck sprain is in order. But after 3 days, it all seems a bit natural, and the pain subsides.

Give a friend a box of cigars

Well its roll, roll, roll, cigars, yes indeed Cuban cigars! Some of the worlds finest, but here is one of my favorite quotes from ......Fidel_Castro, ...."and yet, when we give a friend a box of cigars as a gift, we say, "If you smoke, you can smoke them; if you have any friends who smoke, you can share them; but the best thing you can do with this box of cigars is to give them to your enemy."

Coming from Alberta, Canada - Vacation

Fruit and vegetables are a plenty in an all inclusive vacation. With no lack of chicken, pork or seafood. Quality beef is scarce anywhere in the Caribbean, and Cuba is no different. Besides, coming from Alberta, Canada, a 10 or 18 oz steak can be had for as little as 10 to 18 canadian dollars, and its among the most delicious in the world. I,m not here for steak , although again, some meat tanning along the shore...

  God Bless Your Travel
Yes back to reality, here the three amigos, play the grand finally. Fantastic cuban cuisine, wines down this vacation. From a canadian visiting Cuba , I would recommend this trip be booked soon..very soon! With all do respect, the life depicted on this website is the life of a tourist, not that of an average cuban. Viva cuba and may God Bless Your Travel..

God Bless
